Twisted Star

Heavenly Stars

Heavenly Stars

My sister and I went to the Paducah quilt show a year or so past and we raved over this quilt on display in the Hancock Fabric store. I just had to have it...I brought the pattern and all the materials required to make it, knowing nothing about paper piecing. After teaching myself how to paper piece I started on my quilt. It took me several months to complete as I did a lot of tearing out. Sewing from the back or opposite was very hard to get used to. However I never give up without a good ole college try (so to speak)....

I was so proud when it was completed that I even made matching pillow cases.
