Noah and the Ark
Long before I really knew how to make a quilt I began embroidering the squares for this quilt 30 years ago when my oldest son was a baby. The squares were from a white pillowcase and were not uniform in size. At some point these squares were put in a storage barrel and forgotten, until 3 years ago. While cleaning out a storage room in our house I found them. This started me on the road to quilting. It took forever for me to decide how to place the squares, coordinating fabrics, sashing, and borders. However at last it is complete. Ready for our first grandchild. What a journey.
